Write simple sentences

For most academic writing, the style is succinct and direct.  言简意赅，直达主题. To write short and simple sentences is the best way to sate clearly and avoid grammar errors.

An example of a long and difficult sentence:

Duplicate simulations were performed at each temperature starting with structures found at different time points for the equilibration and showed a high degree of reproducibility with similar characteristics and the order of unfolding events, while some differences in the time scale over which these events took place.

I changed it to three sentences:

Duplicate simulations were performed at each temperature starting with structures found at different time points of equilibration. They showed a high degree of reproducibility with similar structure characteristics and order of unfolding events. However, there were some differences in the time scale over which these events took place.
